Candidate search waits through a brief service restart
Candidates keeps trying during a brief service restart, with a clear progress message and a retry action if service stays unavailable.
What changed
When a Candidates search encounters a brief service restart, it now retries and shows “Still searching…” instead of immediately showing an error. Results appear when service returns.
How to use it
Keep the search open while it is waiting. Changing your search or leaving the page stops the old retries. If service stays unavailable, the search shows an error and Try again after roughly a minute.
Boundaries to know about
This applies to temporary restart failures. A search that exceeds its normal time limit still shows its error without this retry cycle. It does not guarantee uninterrupted service or retry every kind of error.
