Keep public application profiles processing after upload
Accepted public applications keep their resume processing in the background, even when the first upload handoff is interrupted.
Apply as usual
Candidates can continue applying through the public job board as usual. Once an uploaded resume is confirmed for processing, RecruitIQ keeps the work in the background so an interrupted first handoff does not leave the candidate waiting for a profile that was never started.
Recruiters can open the saved candidate to review the resume and the AI profile when processing finishes. Profile generation still follows the organization’s Auto AI on Apply setting; organizations that turn it off do not receive an automatic AI profile.
Keep the accepted resume together
When the same resume reaches RecruitIQ more than once, its profile processing reuses the accepted file and existing work. A repeated file does not replace a completed profile just because another upload copy was received. This does not combine separate applications or change which resume an existing candidate is allowed to replace.
Returning applicants keep processing
A returning applicant may already have a profile from an older resume. We fixed a case where that older profile, or an earlier failed processing attempt, could block automatic profile processing for a newly accepted application. Recruiters can continue reviewing the saved resume and open the updated profile when it is ready.
The existing saved profile stays available while the new request is waiting. This follows the same Auto AI on Apply setting and accepted-resume rules. It does not automatically restart previously stalled applications or regenerate every older profile.
The contact details accepted on the application now stay together with its resume processing. A completed profile for a different resume can remain available without blocking a new application whose processing has not started. If earlier processing cannot be safely identified, it stays held for review instead of starting another copy.
Know when to try again
If the public board cannot confirm that the resume was saved for processing, the application form asks the candidate to try again in a few minutes. A successful submission does not mean the AI profile is already complete; processing can continue afterward.
This improvement applies to newly accepted public application uploads. It does not automatically regenerate older profiles, replace existing resumes, enable Auto AI for an organization or send additional messages.
