Candidates search now suggests the right spelling

When a keyword search finds nobody because a word looks misspelled, Candidates offers the closest word your own candidates actually contain.

A typo no longer ends in an empty list

Type receptionts into Candidates search and nobody matches. Candidates now offers the closest word your own candidates contain, receptionist in this case. Choose it and the search runs again with the corrected word.

On a computer the suggestion appears inside the search box, in the spot where the result count usually sits. Press Tab or click it to accept. On a phone it appears as a button under the empty results message.

You stay in control

Nothing changes until you choose the suggestion. Your search is never rewritten for you, and typing anything else makes the suggestion disappear right away.

Suggestions only come from your organization’s candidates, so you never see words from another company’s data.

Searches stay as fast as before

The suggestion is only looked up after a search comes back empty, so searches that find candidates are not slowed down. If no close word exists, or the lookup is slow, you simply see the usual empty message.
